Q: Can you guarantee confidentiality?
A: Yes, all of our editors have signed a confidentiality agreement. Bioscience Editing Solutions will also enter a confidentiality/non-disclosure agreement with clients if so requested.
A: Our service is very secure. Our system uses the latest security technology and our servers are behind a firewall with regular security updates. Client documents are stored on an independent server and have limited administrator access. All payments are handled through a third party and no financial data is transmitted to Bioscience Editing Solutions.
Q: What is your turn-around time?
A: We generally can complete revisions within 2-3 days after receiving your files. We also have a rush service available if you need revisions within 24 hours.
Q: How many revisions will you do?
A: Our editors are skilled in their ability to optimize scientific manuscripts for journal submission. After editing by two independent editors, your manuscript will be ready for immediate submission. If you feel elements of your manuscript should be changed after editing is complete, we will gladly work with you on further revisions until you are completely satisfied.
A: Our editors have over 15 years of scientific editing experience and have successfully edited manuscripts published in all of the top scientific journals. Our editors have met specific criteria for employment with Bioscience Editing Solutions and are only selected from top Ivy League schools.
Q: Where have your edited manuscripts been published?
A: We regularly edit manuscripts sent to premier journals such as Nature, Science, and Cell. In addition, our edited manuscripts have been published in Current Opinions, Cancer Cell, Oncogene, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Molecular Cell, Nature Reviews, among others. A full bibliography is available upon request.
Q: Do you have a rush service?
A: Yes. We can edit your manuscript within 24 hours for an extra fee with our rush service.
Q: How do I submit a document?
A: Our preferred method for document transfer is by email or through our online submission form. Files too large for email can be uploaded to our FTP site. If necessary, documents can be sent through regular mail as well.
Q: How are communications handled?
A: All communications are handled by the managing editor assigned to your manuscript through email or by phone.
Q: Can you format my manuscript for a specific journal?
A: Yes. We can generally format manuscripts for particular styles at no additional cost. However, if substantial re-organization and re-writing is required there may be an additional cost that will be discussed at the time of your free quote.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Bioscience Editing Solutions uses Paypal as a third party transaction service. We do not collect or view any financial information from you. Paypal accepts all major types of credit cards and bank wire transfers. Other forms of payment (direct billing, purchase orders, etc) can be arranged on an individual basis.
